Smithfield Centre
Smithfield Centre is a modern regional business centre
and has a Kmart, a large number of specialty stores and
supermarkets and includes cafes, banks, a post office,
a nearby tavern and bistro, medical and a range of other
services. It can satisfy all your shopping needs and is
located approximately 15 minutes drive north of the Cairns
City Centre, close to the Northern Beaches and immediately
adjacent to Canopy’s Edge Estate. Buses to or from
the city run as often as every 10 minutes in peak hour. |

The Marlin Coast Community Centre
The Centre has as its aim to promote, support and enhance
wellbeing in the community. It is an independent, community
based organisation based at 45 Cumberland Avenue, Smithfield,
within walking distance of Canopy’s Edge. It offers
Community Education and Personal Development, Counselling
and Support, Play Groups, Art Classes, all promoting healthy
